Default toolbox w/ oem bedliner?

i am lookin for a toolbox that hangs on the bed rails and will fit with the oem bedliner? do they make something like this? i read through some of the post and some said "i am lookin for a toolbox but don't what to lose the bedliner?" is this true that if i do get a toolbox that hangs over the rails, that i have to lose the bedliner? also does anyone know where i can get a cheap one (new or used)? already checked ebay. thanks

btw: i have the base tundra with 8ft bed

I have a weatherguard that hangs over the rails. The downside of it is that it covers half of my back window - makes it hard to see whats behind you with the rear view mirror. Also the ends stick out past the body - probably decreases the gas mileage at high speed. My Tundra is white - weatherguard matches the paint and I like the quality. If I had it to do over, I would get a cap or get a model that fits flush with the top of the bed rail and rests on the bottom of the bed. Also, when I had the bedliner - I added 3 " square tubing between the bedrail and the weatherguard. Never had a problem with it. I got the tubing from Home Depot - swimming pools fence posts. You can get plastic caps to fit in the holes.

I have a challenger Tool Box that looks great. I also installed a Back Rack so I can put long items over the cab of the truck. Like AZ Tundra states, the rear window viewable area is reduced. Check out my pics.

I ordered the Deflecta-Shield DEFTU-5050. It is diamond plate and is made specifically for the Tundra. Other boxes may be too big as the Tundra is just a bit smaller than "Full size". This box will fit perfectly and assure that it does not extend past the body. It's top width dimension is 68 1/2, and the bottom width (to fit between the bed rails) is 60 1/2. This works nicely as the 2001 Tundra Access Cab version I have dimensions are 69" and 61" respectively. The only down side is that it is not cheap since I guess they do not sell as many as a generically sized unit that fits in an F150 or Silverado, etc.

<edit> FYI I just installed the toolbox yesterday and it is great. Perfect fit on the Tundra. I posted a picture of it here. http://www.tundrasolutions.com/photo...cat/500/page/1
