Question Wiper system for cap?

Does anyone make a rear wiper system that can be fitted to a SnugTop cap? Driving conditions in Colorado mean that the rear window on my truck cap gets covered with snow, slush, and dust fairly quickly and it can be a bit of an adventure trying to figure out what is going on behind the truck, and with no supercharger, I can't just run away.

If there is such a thing as an aftermarket rear wiper system, does it also come with a washer?

Default Just a cheaper thoght.

My brother in law always swore one of those wings like on s-10 blazers kept the rear wind cleaner than not having one.

I had a rear wing on my old Leer and it didn't work that well - fine for dust, but the wet and sticky stuff wouldn't move.

I haven't heard of an after market one, but a rear wiper is an option on the A.R.B caps. You may want to look there to see if they have anything that might fit the SnugTop.

Default possible solution

we have a little golf-cart like vehicle called a mule (suzuki) and it has the cabover with a windshield washer on it...

There isn't much to that and I bet you could retrofit one onto your application.

Here's a price

http://www.teamcc.com/dlrindexsend_p...00+Series+.htm

granted that's rather expensive...but... I bet you could get one from a junk yard and retrofit... for a whole lot less.

mmmm retrofit... sounds like nice saturday afternoon project
