Interior & ExteriorDiscussions about the interior, and exterior of your vehicle.
This is a discussion thread titled "Cabin air filter for Tundra?", within the Interior & Exterior forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
After I found out my wife's Avalon has one, I asked the dealer about the Tundra. I was told no (I have an '01 Limited). Too bad though. The airfilter they pulled out of my wife's car after 30k was NAAAAAASTY.
'03 does not... I would suspect only the DC has it, since it seems to be more of a Sequoia than Tundra when it comes to everything forward of the B pillars.
The '04 Rav4 has it, and I pulled it at 5k and it was already loaded with leaves and junk. I plan on blowing it out (with a FAN!) every 5k now.

Has anybody changed them out yet? I've got this wet towel smell when I start the truck so I want to see how nasty they are. My owners manual says nothing...
i know i dont have one, dust outside means dust inside, and the ventilation tubes behind the dashboard were downright foul. the filter would need to be right next to the input side of the blower, dunno where the blower is tho.

AFAIK, no Access Cab Tundra has one. I'm not sure about Seq or DC... if Seq has one, then there's a good chance the DC has one.

You were looking at it when you installed your Unichip. Look under the glove box. Not behind it, but under it.
