Default Auto dimming rear view mirror. HELP

I have a 2004 double cab that came with a regular rear view mirror. Is there any wiring requied to install an auto dimming rear view mirror that does not have temperature nor compass reading? Does Toyota part # PT374-0C020 (auto dimming mirror) fit the 2004 Double Cab?

I don't know about the fit for the DC, but the unit does require a switched hot and a ground.
I'd get the one with the outside temp... same size, you still have to run wiring, and it's pretty cool.

same question only.... i have the mirror it has 3 wires.. pink/black - black - green. pins 1,2,3 respectively.. im assuming that the switched hot is pink/black and the black is negative... anyone know if i need to connect the green. also... where is the closest ignition wire for the switched hot wire... any diagrams would be appreciated.

If this is a Gentex mirror you got it sort of:
pin 7 - the farthest one outside is ignition 12+ - I went to the hot side of the cig lighter plug.
pin 6 - the middle one is your ground
pin 5 - hook to your reverse 12+ on the reverse relay. This will disable the auto dim on the mirror when you are backing up.

Try is website:
