Air conditioning and hot water?
I was changing my coolant and was looking at where the heater hose goes inside the cab and realized that unless the interior air temp selector is all the way maxed to cold that some hot water is circulated inside the cab. I can't believe that our AC would let us let in hot water but this is true unless the air temp is maxed to the cool side. I was always using the AC and I thought that if I didn't have the cold air all the way to the max that it wouldn't run the compressor as much. Well I guess I was wrong. I guess the only way to reduce the cold air is turn down the fan. Does this seem right or is the AC somehow closing off the hot water???? I did notice that the air selector when not on the max cold does make a different sound.
