Unhappy Question about fender flare moulding

Just got my truck back from having a new fender flare put on passenger side rear. The flare was damaged when I bought it so the dealer said they would replace it at no cost. Am not pleased with the results and am tired of going back to the dealer (been there twice now for this). The problem is now the black rubber moulding that contacts the flare and the body does not adhere to the body in some spots. My question is how is this moulding attached to the flare and the body. (Double back tape, glue, etc) And is there a way that I can pull it off and then put it back on the correct way shy of taking it back out to the dealer?

They are attached by clips that are bolted to the underside/outer edge wheel well. The reason your moulding is not flush in spots is because the clip is half on in those spots. I took off my front mouldings to see what it would look like and it was a real hassle getting them back on. Had the same problem you have til I finally worked 'em on right. Dirt will get in there if they are not on right...actually dirt gets in there when they are on right too!
