Default question about installing the Ivan Stewart Bumper Cover

Im about to install this Ivan Stewart Bumper but I have a question about the TRD instructions...It says that once the oem bumper is on the ground that You dissassemble the upper and lower vallence trim which im guessing means the blastic part on the the 2000-2002 tundras bumper. My question is do you reinstall this trim or does this get left out..I dont want to leave it out because it will probably get lost or broken incase I ever want to take the cover off..if someone could answer this question as to what gets put back on the bumper when its off that would be great thanks again

They get left off totally and never reinstalled as long as you have the IS cover on.

Send user "atucker" a PM as I sold him an Ivan Stewart cover and he installed it with no problems and could be useful to you.

...For someone contemplating a TRD bumper, I pose a question:

Does the Ivan Stewart bumper cover fit *over* the existing bumper, or can the factory bumper on my '02 be removed in it's entirety before fitting the TRD version? My front bumper was damaged in a minor accident, and while it's shape is deformed by a vertical 2" wide crease running through it, it never lost it's structural integrity.

Thoughts? comments? suggestions?

Cheers in advance, and I apologise if this has been covered before.

Regards
Asif
