Default Anyone else seen the canvas bed top?

Recently I saw this canvas roof over an '03 bed held up by 6-8 steel shafts to match the height of the roof. Rolled up on each side were the walls you could lower to enclose the bed. The front & back were transparent and the owner told me the sides could be as well. Supposedly, these were made for any truck by a L.A. company running approx. $800. He gave me the web site, but of course, I forgot! He also gave me this site (at least I remembered somethin...)

Marine canvas, completely waterproof, but yet the ability to create shade while remaining open... Good idea, and gotta say, looked pretty fresh..

if you use the search on this site and type in can-back, you should get a few links. They look pretty cool to me. Good luck

thats what the stake pockets are for. Heck Id just build it out of 2x4s and a $10 tarp. You could easily to it all for $40 or less. I had the idea from the rinky dink garbage and mulch companies here who take an old beater half-ton and build a huge "room" on the back with 2x4's and sheets of plywood. Then they can pile trash and mulch way up high in the bed. Its just a cheapo temporary camping setup anyway, why spend $800?
