Interior & ExteriorDiscussions about the interior, and exterior of your vehicle.
This is a discussion thread titled "wet carpet?", within the Interior & Exterior forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
I started to notice the rear passenger side floor gets wet. It's in the access cab location, under the handle that releases the rear seat up. Just wondering if anyone else had this issue. I had it serviced and they said that it was a drain hose clogged, they cleaned it but it still is wet. maybe it's the door seal or the rear window seal? anyone had the same issue?
I've seen this posted before. Do a search, I do believe that some have posted that it was the seam sealing strips on the roof (two black plastic strips) that were the culprit. It could also be the rear window, water leaks are a PITA to trace. Better get it soon before your truck smells like a musty cellar.

*off topic*
do some toyota dealership purposely sell troubled vehicles? my last three vehicles were toyota (two sedan & truck), no problems with vehicle or dealer. now with my new truck + jerkey dealer = problems with my truck?
I think it's coincidental that there are problems with your truck and you have a crappy dealer. When I had my '94 Dodge Ram, I had a good dealer and a crappy truck. Perhaps they are treating you badly because you stick up for yourself?
My Dodge had a leaky rear window (twice) I made them replace the headliner and the carpeting to get rid of that musty smell at the same time they replaced the rear window. I'd suggest the same, especially since they are jerks. Good luck!

Had this problem with my truck. It's the wet seal on the rear window. Take it to a glass shop and have them remove and reseal the rear window. I got a few prices, all were around $100. Those two plastic strips along the roof are kinda' like gutters. They direct the water down the inside edge of the rear window and out the two dimples below. Sealing them won't help at all.
The glass shop wanted my truck for half a day. I actually ended up fixing it myself, although I wouldn't recommend it. I was bored at work one day and removed the rear window. What I found was an air bubble in the wet seal at the top two corners. The water was running into these holes and into the cab. I found some "areospace" ( ) grade silicone at work and resealed my window with it. It's holding up for now but I know I will need to get the correct adhesive/sealant in the future.
Somthing you may want to try first is to take a cup of water and pour it down the weatherstriping at the rear window. Then take a look for moisture on the inside of the rear window. Hope this helps...
