What's the best price for the ARB Bull Bar?

I've seen them for $975 at 4x4connection.com, but you'd have to add shipping unless you're in the Northern Virginia / D.C. area. Residential shipping is about $125 extra, but it's usually only about $75 to a commercial address.

Samsoffroad.com has them for $1008.95 delivered, which includes the $109 UPS ground residential shipping charges. So, without shipping, they'd run $899.95. So far, this is the winner.

I got mine from ebay, it's a Westin. Cost me around 300$ I got the black bars with the skid-plate. Looks sweet as hell. My Tundra looks very very similar to yours Keiphers, you should look into the Westin.

bought the arb sahara bull bar w/winch mount for $900 at 4wheel parts wholesalers here in san diego. they matched samsoffroad price and i didn't have to pay shipping. had toyota put it on for another $100. still haven't put in the winch or the lights

It was from Landcruiser Connection (now 4x4connection.com) - I think that I paid $695 plus another $125 for shipping almost 10 years ago now. It could not be shipped to a residence - (size/weight) and had to be shipped common carrier - ie. yellow freight, roadway, R&L.

Anyway the point of this was that they seem expensive - but they were $695 over 10 years ago. The people @ 4x4connection were great - I bought all my LC parts. IMHO - there is no other bull bar other than the ARB. It was bombproof and saved me many times esp. good on deer and brick walls.

I got my ARB bumper from 4x4connection on my 94' pickup a few years back and they shipped straight to my house, but it was about twice the shipping rate, so I got hit for $125 instead of the $75 commercial rate. They definately ship to a residence still, I just checked.

If you're in the San Diego area, it sounds like 4Wheel Parts Wholesalers is the way to go to avoid shipping. Otherwise, SamsOffRoad seems to be the winner if you've got to ship it.

I'm going to see if Lowcountry 4x4 or anywhere else around here would price match. I'd really prefer not to ship. It's going to be so sweet tho. The first thing I'm doing when I get it is sand off the paint and paint it white

. Next will come lights. Winch will come around Christmas when I have more cash.

It's a shame they don't come in more colors than black, but if you sand it down, be sure to have it power-coated again before you paint it. The finish will be so much nicer.

actually it only comes in gray. you could get it baked, sandblasted and re powder coated, but it will be $$$. I got mine from 4WP w/ free shipping for about $825, but that that was a few years ago already

Gray? There were no color options when I ordered mine a few years back and everywhere I read it says they only come in black. Do you mean order it gray powder coat without being painted?

TMS2U is right on this one. It's actually a gray powdercoat finish. I just don't like the look of the gray on a white truck. I've got the extra cash to get some lights and get it painted.

The other thing to remmember is that these are not actually "Bull bars", they are "Sahara bars". HUGE difference IMHO. Thats probably why the black color is popping up in your memory bank.

Yeah, good point. I am thinking about the bullbar... I miss it!

There's a crapload of more protection with the bullbars than with the sahara. I was a little disappointed that we cant get an ARB in the old Bullbar style. I don't see why they don't do a little bending to fit it.
