Default Retrax question

hi

Just a couple questions for those with the retrax cover, I'm looking at getting a double cab....

1) Which is the better option with the retrax, the factory bed liner, or the spray in ???

2) with the retrax installed, can the bed extender still work ??? Can it still flip over and be used ????

3) for those that have it are you happy with it

thanks for your time

FutureDCTundra....

my personal opinion here and others may disagree but the RETRAX is awesome and YES it still works with the tailgate extender. The rails do NOT get in the way...I use my extender ALL the time with my Retrax. One of the best mods to date and VERY versatile for different cargos. As far as the bedliner...again my opinion but I believe Line-X is the way to go...I LOVE mine its texture and toughness are great and avoids all the problems associated with drop-in liners...definitely go with some sort of spray-in liner and the Retrax you won't be disappointed!!!!

disclaimer: I am in no way associated with RETRAX or Line-X dealers! The opinions expressed here are my own and do not reflect the opinions of TS members!

I have the Retrax and the spray on Rhino liner. Love them both but be careful in that when I removed the bed rails to install the Retrax, I had to add more spacers since the Retrax was made to install over the factory bed rail caps. Approx. 1/4" more spacers were needed.
Have had the Retrax 2 years now with no problems. Just check that the mounting brackets don`t loosen over time and retighten as needed.

Where can I find the Retrax tonneau cover? How much will it set me back?

I'm interested in one as well. PM me if you find any good deals or want to pool together to bargain for a better price.

There was a group buy earlier this year for Retrax tonneau covers. Had I known about retractable bed covers and the Retrax earlier I would've wanted to start a group buy, and try to get as many people as possible so we could've gotten the price down. But, it is getting into my holiday shopping season and I have some big items I plan on getting for the family and need all of the extra money I can get.
