Default My hybrid nerf boards are on!!

Well just got done putting on my new hybrid step bars....the Onki nerf boards...the look of a stainless steel tubular nerf bar with the functionality of a running board but better. These have an SS cap and a rubberized step which is a full 6.5" wide (compared with usual 4" running board or 3" nerf bar) and runs uninterrupted the entire length of the board....IMHO they look sweet! and I love em...so does my girl...makes getting in with a tigh skirt on a whole lot easier!

I have install pics in my gallery as well as final pics

    Default Nerf Bar Flex

I received my Force Side Steps yesterday and threw them on last night. The bars look mint but I had a few questions on the install. It says to torque all bolts to 65 lbs. I was torquing the bolt that holds the bar to the plate and it just seemed to not get real tight. It felt like the piece inside the bar that you are bolting onto was pushing forward with every crank. I noticed where the bar meets the plate it looked a little crimped. Should I be worried? I mean they are pretty solid, but they do flex just a hair. Of all the nerf bars out there, do they all flex a little? I almost wish there was one more support in the middle, but that might look funny.

your Force Flex aren't like my Onki's but I respond to your question of flex...the Onki's I have do NOT have any flex...I can jump up and down on them and nothing! I'm really satisfied with them...I haven't seen a pic of yours thought...any links?...you can see pics of mine in my photo album as well as the supports...there are three supports along its length...the middle one really helps with flex . alot of nefrs I've seen only have attachment points on the ends not the middle.
