Default Questions/Concerns about my new 2005 DC

First off, I just want to say how much I like my new truck.

I ordered and received:
Truck:
SR5 DC, White, Light Grey Interior, Moon Roof, VSC, 17" wheels,
Fender Flares, Towing Pkg, 6 Disc Chngr
Mods:
Tint, Rhino liner, UWS Low Profile Tool Box.

The ride is great. Can't believe how quiet the cab is! Looks good and feels great!

This is my first Toyota (Ford convert!), and I have a few questions/concerns about my new truck.

1) Is there any way to turn off the headlights?? Sometimes when I am in "Park" and idling, I would like to have the lights off, and maybe just have the parking lights on. Backing in at night my neighbors get a shine, or sitting parked people get blinded.

2) Any way to disable the Stereo buttons on the steering wheel short of disconnecting the wires? I definitely drive mostly with my left hand, and countless times I have bumped the "Mode" button or the "arrows" and have thrown the stereo off. Very annoying!!

3) Gotta figure something out with the driver side arm rest. I put it down and it feels like it's "under my arm". I basically can't rest my elbow on it. It's just not comfortable. I definitely wish there was a slight bit of more "elbow room" in the cab (couple inches wider).
I think I may have the armrest removed and customize the post to somehow extended out as far as it will go w/o interfering with the console.

4) Turning Radius too large. I realize I have a very "long" vehicle, but why can't the front wheels turn a bit more? Lots of 3-point turns these days...

Thanks!

The only way I know to turn the lights off is to start the truck with the parking brake on, the lights should not come on until it is released.
This only works when you start it that way, puting the brake on while it's already running dosen't work.

Thanks - logical idea, but since I tow a boat for a living, backing in is a daily ritual - thanks.....

I will try "starting" with parking brake on. I have tried applying the parking brake with no luck. I have another vehicle where the lights come on auto, and applying the parking brake turns the lights off. No dice on the DC.
Thanks!
