My interior smells. I smoke, but I open my windo all the way. I know, I know I should quit, but tough, I'm not right now. The truck is smelling its age (certainly not looking like it though teeeheeee). Any suggestions other than having the inside reconed (it's on the list of things to do but not this month).
Thanks!

Use Febreze to eliminate the baked in smoke smell then use any air freshesner you want. You may have to give it a couple passes of Febreze to totally eliminate the odor though.

I was told that a sliced up apple put in the back of a car will take out all smells including smoke. Never tried it but I hear it does work.

laundry dryer sheets. you know Bounce or Tide makes them along with others. Throw a few of them under your seats and in a day the smell should be gone. Worked for me !

NATURE'S MIRACLE stain and odor remover, works AWESOME! According to the container it's guaranteed to work or money back. I can vouch that it has gotten rid of MANY smells in mine and friends vehicles. It's an enzyme based cleaner that breaks down the stuff not covers it up. Febreeze is OK, Laundry sheets to perfumy and just a cover up mask. Between Kids and Pets here's some of what I've used it on and cars smells clean again in a couple days:
Vomit (both kids and pets)
Chocolate milk (a couple days later in the sun)
Cat Urine (I think this was possibly the worst thing I've ever had in a closed car in summer!)
Baby Formula (smells rancid before it sits)
Unknown stench sources ( just sprayed real heavy everything in friends minivan, ceiling, seats, carpets) Took 2 applications 1 week apart but was good afterward.
You can download this from Autopia.com http://autopia-carcare.com/freeguide.html which has some great info especially on cleaning stains smells. He recommends "Kids and Pets Brand Stain and Odor Remover" (same as Natures miracle from what I can tell) but I couldn't find it anywhere.

consider giving a "stripper" exotic dancer or bar hostess a ride home once per week. leaves a nice perfumy smell in the interior.

Actually, you could probably just fart and go with the lesser of two evils
Seriously though... I used Ozium to get rid of a smoke smell before and it works great. Just make sure you have a window cracked or something open because it will choke you out in a closed space. I would spray it around the floor vents and let the draft take care of the rest.

I could have gotten away with this a few years ago, however, I think my wife would take exception.
