Does anyone know who makes a billet grill and billet bumper insert combination. There was a post on this before that I asked someone on the board who said they had this, but I never got a responce back from them. If I do one I want to do them both.
I guess my grille is neither a trenz or a stull, because it doesn't have 10 or 16 bars. It has 12. Looks good, I still haven't had time to put it on yet.
hockeyfreak-
The stock grill has to be cut out. You do have to save the hood latch portion on the OEM grille. Two important words while doing this mod.....Dremel Tool. Alohas!

Hockeyfreak,
I think with almost any grill replacement you are going to have to cut out the old grill. The exception to this would be speed grills because they are only sheet metal. You can look on ebay for another grill if you are really worried about screwing up your present grill. As far as cutting out the grill, a dremel or a die grinder are the way to go. Also, tape the areas that you don't want cut to give them extra protection and be careful not to run whatever tool you use to fast, the plastic will melt.

I got past the problem of cutting things after working in a race shop and being a crew chief. When something had to be fixed, in a hurry, you just did it. Not to say that cutting on your pristine Toyota is easy, just take your time, don't do it when you have limited amount of time and you feel rushed. Always figure if the directions say it will take an hour, it will take two.
Whoever has pics of their billet grille, could yall please post some pics. Which one, in your opinion the best for around $100-$150?does any other company make a bumper insert? -- Thanks

A very solid piece. No hum, whistle or vibration at speed . I am thinking about buying the lower insert from T-Rex to finish off the front of my Tundra.

I have been searching this site as well as the internet for a few months now trying to find out what kind of grille to get for my 01 Tundra Limited. I have heard a variety of brands, Grill Craft, Stull, Trenz, TRD, and T-Rex grilles. My question for all of you out there is, which is the best looking one out there? easiest installation? price? and more importantly, brushed or polished? I like the look of the TRD mesh style grille, but lately I have been hearing a lot of complaints about this one lately. So any advice or comments from those of you who have an aftermarket grille would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
