TRD Decals On '05 Tacoma

Call me crazy, but do you guys think the taco in the toyota.com dealer web-sites look better with the more subdued logos? I'm mainly talking silver tacos because that's what I've got. I've attached a pic to illustrate what I'm saying. I'm thinking very seriously about purchasing some of the charcoal/silver decals from one of those toyota parts websites and seeing what may happen. They are $25 ea for early versions, $50 ea for '05. I thought about peeling them off totally, (debadging) but in a weird way I feel like I paid about $3800 for those decals ya' know. Does anyone else feel this way????

TRD pkg is a rip off..3800 for some stickers medicore shocks crap tires and LSD and a locker..i can make my own TRD pkg cheaper than that..

LSD-500 (roughly)
Locker-450(power trax)
Shocks-425(TRD spec bilsteins)
tires-800 (BFG AT)
stickers-50

What about the seats??? You gonna have those custom made for a couple hundred too? I'm not trying to bring up a discussion about trd packages, just the stickers. Lets talk about stickers. I thought your screen name wuz trdsyrup, give up some love for trd packages, it's your name!

Thought it also had bigger sway bars/400w outlet in the bed/progressive coil springs/tow package

Between SJ and OG, there is a $700 dollar difference I think???

not tow pkg..but IMO toyota bends you over on that package..

and i wasnt aware the seats were any different..ive been in an sr5 and trd sport and trd offroad..all the same seats..

The trd off road and sport 05 tacos get the the sport seats.

Those other stickers would look good on silver.

The seats in the TRD sport were a big seller for me also, did not like the seats in the plain SR5 truck. Also liked the ride in the sport better than SR5. Definitely like the 17" wheels also, dont know if they are available on all models or not. And I like all the color keyed body pieces also, dont know if they are on only TRD models or not but looks good.

The SR5 gets a less bolstered velour covered seat, and the sport seats in the TRD are more bolstered, with IMHO nicer fabric.

Nobody mentioned the Thermometer/compass with the TRD either

I'm sure the dealerships have them, I saw one website that had them too I think. They are around $50 each and they have to order them I believe.

well considering i have half of that stuff on my 04 SR5..NO..its not worth 3000..off road tuned suspension is hardly tuned..its bolt on cheap shocks..

I didn`t like the decals at all so I peeled them off and added some TRD emblems found on ebay
