This is a discussion thread titled "Toyota Tundra 00-02 wood dash trim kit 38 pcs", within the Interior & Exterior forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
I added a Toyota wood kit to my interior, but recently found this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cg...046818&r=0&t=0 on ebay. My kit only had 6 pieces and this one has 38! The ebay picture looks kinda shady. What do you think? Any experience dealing with a wood kit like this?
Im not sure about that kit, but this is where i got mine and im happy with it. Its a 17 pc kit that comes in quite a few diff types of wood or even brushed aluminum! http://www.woodtrim.com/catalog_detail.cfm?prod=2581
I just ordered that kit from the guy. It was 185 to my door. He said i should get it late this week. He is down in Fla somewhere, seemed very nice. I will let you know how it comes out. It is NOT real wood it is synthetic, but for 185 it seems like a good deal. It seems like evey wood kit is missing just a couple pieces that I wanted. I want the covers for my center armrest on my Limited. I will post pics when I get it installed..

Your right about kits missing certain pieces. I want the piece on the headliner around the sunglass holder. I will be very interested in your thoughts once you receive your kit.
I'd like to know what you think as well. Take some pics too!Which wood did you get? the one advertised or something else. I think the burl would look nice.

I just installed a real wood dash kit from Exoticwooddash.com on my wifes 02 Expedition and it looks great. Took me 2 hours to install 32 pieces. They have a kit that matches the Toyotas factory wood. I spent $380 but I think the Toyota kit is a little more. Easy to install and the finish is great. Ryan
I've got the burlwood trim from Toyota. My wife, bless her heart, talked the guy into giving it to us at cost. You're right. The burl is VERY nice. I didn't know about this site and the fact that I could have tried to order/do it myself until about 2 months after I bought the truck.
