Default Which Cap should I get for my Double Cab?

I want to get a cap for my DCAB, and have narrowed it down to a LEER or an A.R.E., but does anybody on this page have the "compression boot" that goes between the cab and cap?

If so, is it a self adhesive number to prevent chaffing, or is it a true "compression" boot?

What does the cap have window wise if you choose to go with the compession boot?

Any info would be great!

Thanks

I have a snugtop super sport canopy on my tundra. I considered other brands like leer and A.R.E. I didn't like the leer canopy due to fact that I work for customs and I have to check out vehicles all the time. I have noticed that leers are built fairly cheap especially when it comes to the locking mechanism on the canopy. A.R.E are good caps but a little pricey. I don't need a rear windshield wiper on my cap and therefore did not go with the A.R.E. SnugTop makes a good cap and they now have remote entry for the supersport as well as some A.R.E like features. I like the flush mounted key lock in the window of snugtop. I have not had any problems with my canopy. SnugTop is the authorized OEM factory supplier for Toyota trucks.
