Default Got my SnugLid yesterday

I got my Snug lid for my '05 doublecab Prerunner today. Overall I really like it. Here are some pics, Note the last two pics. The brackets cover part of the tiedown channel on the sides and the entire front. By the way it was a total bolt on drilless application. Ran me $811 including tax and installation. I was shocked that they had it in stock. Sorry for the night shots with flash, not the best.

Looks great! Where did you purchase your lid from?

Looks great, Mark!

I have a silver Access Cab w/TRD Off-Road package and ordered mine a month ago but it's not in, yet.

It's looks easy to remove but I've wondered how heavy it is. Any idea?

Boo

Not sure the weight, it would take some loooooong arms for one person to take it off. Weight guess would be 60-80 lbs.

LOL, I know it takes 2 people to remove it! I wanted to know how much weight it'll add to the back...will come in handy when driving on snow/ice!

Tks!

$811 is not bad, my local dealer quoted me almost $1200 installed. Can you get the locks hooked up to the OEM key FOB? Thanks!

They had another model that had a remote to unlock but would not work with the Toyota remote. I did not want another romote on my keychain so I opted for the standard locking with keys.

That would be a really cool option if you had an after market alarm with a aux button on the remote.

That's exactly what I am looking for, well something that will limit the remote to just one, whether it is an OEM or aftermarket one.

I was gonna order the ARE LSII, but like the SnugLid, Leer, and the Gaylord's X2000, but that keyless entry looks like its only available on the LSII and the LEER.

Time to compare prices.

I believe Snugtop has an online coupon somewhere too for those interested. I'll see if I can find it, but if someone else knows the link please post...

Wish I saw this B4 I bought, but the rest can enjoy. It's a $40 coupon off a cap and $20 off a lid

Enjoy and thanks to TacomaOffRoadGrl for the info
