Default can window tint be removed?

Can the factory tint on the rear sliding window of a DC be removed? It's a bit dark looking through 3 layers of glass, two of which are tinted (the tinted rear window, the shell front window, and the tinted back window of the shell).

I do not believe factory tinted glass can be "untinted" unless it is a film, like aftermarket, and that is very unlikely.

you may be able to buy "clear" glass which is actually tinted slightly green. I had those on my extra cab tacoma and no tint on the other windows.

Toyota did make some base access cab models (double cab too) without tinted rear and side windows. That is the only way you will be able to get clear glass out the sides or back.
