This is a discussion thread titled "Tundra Factory pinstripes?", within the Interior & Exterior forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
Anyone have the factory stripe on their Tundra? Would love to see a pic!
Options listed in kbb as SA1 (Stripes - accent) and TS (Stripes - Custom Pin). Both options listed as PIO and Southeast Region only.

If you want them you can always have them added after you buy the vehicle. Our body shop adds them and also we use a mobile pinstriper for painted stripes and the 3m sticker ones if we do not feel like doing it. Most factory ones are just stickers made by 3M. You can choose from HUNDREDS of different designs, thicknesses, and colors. Also can choose flame ones or whatever. Look in your yellow pages

My white tundra had them from dealer when I ordered, but they were gold and everything else on my truck is chrome so I removed them. My pics show my truck when they were still on if you want to look at them.

Clearly stripes can be added later, I was just wondering what the "factory" striping looked like (e.g., are they the broad stripes as used in the pre-Tacoma era or fine pinstripes...). Thanks to those who posted pics! As it goes, a dealer in so Cal (Dana Point) had a white AC on the lot today with black pinstripes. The dealer hadn't even noticed it and wasn't sure how they got it (reroute?). It gave me a chance to see the pinstripe option up close - it looked OK but wasn't the best quality I've seen in pinstriping. From the look of the pics posted, they, as well as the one I saw today, are all the factory pinstripes (option TS), still curious if the option SA1 (Stripes - accent) is similar or more like the broad striping of days gone by.
