Default 2-way upgrade for DC alarm?

Can the factory alarm in an 05 DC be upgraded to include a 2-way and/or backup battery? Since I'm STILL trying to order my DC, I have the option of getting the factory alarm and upgrading or buying aftermarket. Which approach would be better and result in a "cleaner" install? Note I only want a basic 2 way alarm (with glass beakage sensor) and have no need for other features like perimeter sensors, etc. Thanks.

Clarification if what is meant by "2-way" is to upgrade to include a GBS, then that is possible. There is a GBS upgrade to the D-Cab alarm.

That is the only upgrade capability.

What I meant by "2-way" is to have a receiver that notifies you when the alarm has been set off such as on the Viper 3000. The GBS is a factory option so the system can clearly accomodate that upgrade. I simply wanted notification that the alarm has been triggered when the truck is out of sight or hearing range. Sounds like the answer is NO, such an upgrade to the factory system is NOT possible. Thanks
