Question Body Moldings

I see some have replaced their side body moldings, anyone have specifics on what they used and where they got it. I've done the debadge and would like to get the Limited molding (I have an SR5) or and atfermarket that would cover the holes in the body.

Wow! I just read more on molding removal/replacement than I will need. There were threads inside of threads in there.

If I remove the side body moldings, what are the chances there will be a ghost of the molding on the paint. Can't I just get a strip that instead of being 1 3/8", is big enough to cover the area of the molding, but still be flat and match my paint (after I paint it of course). Has anybody done this? I think I remember seeing a picture of it.

I looked in the Cowles Products on-line catalog and it seems that there is a "bang guard" molding that would look clean. It's a slim rounded molding that comes in high gloss black. (my truck is black) and it seems that if you choose one in a color it should just replace, and cover holes, that's there. If you do a search on the Protekto-trim that is the molding they sell there are numerous places to buy it, I think the set I was looking at is six pieces and cost around $35.00
