Interior & ExteriorDiscussions about the interior, and exterior of your vehicle.
This is a discussion thread titled "What's the best wax to use?", within the Interior & Exterior forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
It's being said that modern finishes don't need the two or three month curing time that older automotive finishes needed.
Best wax? How much work do you want to put in for that shine? For least work and very good, long lasting shine, I like Meguiar's NXT wax. Clean with a clay bar if needed and polish first.

Richard and Co. just came out with a "paint sealer" and a "spray wax" which is supposed to be geared more toward the daily driver who uses auto car washes etc. True, the "Best of Show Wax" can be a pain-even with the Porter Cable, but man my truck looks fantastic. I have even had people accuse me of repainting it. (I'm talking about my '94 Z71, not my Tundra) I'm a Griot's fan, but you need to take a second mortgage to afford everything and have it shipped.
I ordered the paint sealer and spray wax kits. I just bought the Tundra last week so as soon as it gets nice.......For now the Tundra stays in the garage and the Chev gets mule duty. Hey wanna buy a Chev? (Didn't think so)
