Default Reinstalling IS Flares

Tried a search for this information, but no go. I'm thinking of pulling the rear Ivan Stewart fender flares to get them repainted. Was wondering if anyone has experience in reinstalling them. Specifically, where to get the two-sided adhesive tape and what the specs are. The instructions that came with the flares says there are two thicknesses available.

Look for some 3M double sided adhesive tape. Not sure what thickness. Either at your auto store or a auto paint shop. I installed my front TRD flares without any tape and have had no problems.

I got my double sided foam tape from walmart. It's identicle in thickness and width to the ones that came with my IS flares. I'm redoing my drivers' rear sometime in the next few weeks. The time cosuming part it peeling off the old adhesive. You basically unscrew the neccessary screws, nut ad bolt and carefully peel the flare off. You may need to get new plastic grommets. I got my grommets at autozone. The ones that came with the IS flare sucked.

Thanks guys,

Not sure when I'm going to tackle the repaint. The driver's side rear flare really got hammered this winter. I'm even considering running boards to see if that will help keep some of the gravel off the flare.
