Default 04 Tundra DC Center Console Removal Tips???

Anyone have any tips or advice on how to remove the center console in an 04 Tundra DC?

Is there any documentation here on this site. I tried a search and came up with nothing.

Any help is deeply appreciated from anyone who has done it.

I am planning on installing my satellite radio unit and Ipod adapter and want to do it myself.

Thanks again

Thumbs up If ???

If it is the same as a '05 here is how.(From Dash To b/w seats.)

1) open top and lift on the black piece in the front with the cup holders in it. it is held in with clips. Should bring up cup holders and flat area infront of it.

2) pull the 2 10mm bolts out of the bottom inside of the center console.

3) Pull 2 10mm bolts in the front under cup holder plastic you just pulled.

4) unplug cig lighter wire in front of (The back section) center console. When you lift up the front of the console you can see the wire plug.

5) pull it out of the truck. It is a 2 piece from the dash back, seperates where 2 10mm under cup holder is. Also has clips in front there so may have a little resistance.

6) to get the front part out pull the 2 clips in front 1 per side, unplug 2 cig on right hand and lift out.

Any ?'s let me know.
*** The plastic is really soft so do not lean against any edges or put anything on it while it is out of the truck***

So I should start by pulling it out, not by undoing the screws?

Default Pull

Pull just the cup holder piece out. you need this out of the way to get to the 2 bolts under it.
