Default Side Mirror Covers

I see that one can purhcase new mirror covers, how about taking the chrome ones off and re-painting them. Can this be done? Has anyone done it, if so could you PM me the details, taking off and reinstalling. Thanks.

Yeah, get the ones from the Limited's like the previous poster said. Or check ebay and get a set of IS mirror covers, they come already painted but are hard to find. /Mike
