Has anyone PERSONALLY cut out the relief for the stake pockets in their Retrax cover??? How did you perform this? (ie what tools did you use and did you perform it with the rails still on the truck to get an exact fitment?)
Looking to put the relief cuts in mine very soon to accomodate some accessories I will be getting.
I did not have Retrax perform it as I read in some other posts that if they were pre-cut the reliefs didn't line up real well with the stake pockets. So now that mine has been on for a year and I'm satisfied with its placement I want to open up the stake pockets (they are only partially covered now so marking for the cut should be very easy but wondering what tool anyone has used to cut this out.
Thanks

Yep, cut them out myself. Didn't realize that Retrax would do that for me until I already had the unit. I used a Dremel tool with an abrasive cutoff wheel and a finecut file to clean up the edges. Masked off and sprayed some high gloss black paint and it was good to go. I'd suggest you give yourself a little extra margin around the stakebed holes and radius the right angle cuts to make it look better.
