Interior & ExteriorDiscussions about the interior, and exterior of your vehicle.
This is a discussion thread titled "Where and what Camper Shell/Topper Should I get?", within the Interior & Exterior forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
Have a 05 Tundra...looking for a topper to cover my stuff and go camping with. Truck tents cost like 200 USD and I thought if I could go a couple more hundred, I would not mind getting a hard topper.

Expect to pay closer to a grand for anything decent in fiberglass. You could probably get an aluminum topper for 500 or so but they are pretty ugly. I was a little shocked by the prices when I ordered mine but I have been happy with my Leer.
I just put one of http://www.kcovers.com/fourpanel.html on my '00 Tundra. I had a similar type cover on my '89 Toyota for 11 years, but this one is MUCH better. I'm quite pleased with it so far.
