LINE-X: Color-Matched Bedliner

This made me feel good, I thought I would share it with you.

I have a Toyota dealer that uses us. After about a year, they finally decided to try a color matched bedliner in a Tundra. They put the Tundra on the showroom floor and sold it within 3 hours!

We just finished a second one for them.

What colors do you guys have done? Do you have a Jade Mica Green color? Just curious....

We take the factory paint code that's on the sticker that's on the door to a professional paint store. They look up the factory formula and mix the paint. The only Toyota color I won't spray is 1D6, which is Silver Sky Metallic. Toyota was not consistant with the color from the factory.

We use Dupont Ful-thane Nason paint. Nason is urethane based automotive paint. Thus, no fading and the liner looks a L O T better than just a pigmented liner.

Not all LINE-X dealers do it the way I do it. I learned from the LINE-X dealer that has been around the longest and is credited with much of the R&D. I feel very lucky to have trained with him.

So, yes, we can get Jade Mica Green.

yeah I've thought of getting a LINE-X on my truck when I bought it but I got an Tonneau cover on now....but later maybe I'll think of getting a LINE-X I live in Tyler ,TX. and where in Dallas are you guys located if you don't mind? thanks, Rob

What happens when you use the bed? Does it act like paint and look scratched up, except with the black liner showing through?

The color is mixed in so even if scratched it would be the same color deeper in the spray

That's correct, we spray a pigmented liner that is close to the factory color first. The urethane based Nason works well with LINE-X. I have NEVER had one returned with any type of problem. But, to be on the safe side, I would not recommend this for a commercial work truck.

Check with the dealer in Tyler to see if he knows how to do it. If not, I'll be glad to help. We are located on the west side of Fort Worth: 8155 Camp Bowie West, 76116.
