Default Ladder Rack

I've read a couple of threads about people looking for lader racks for the 05 Tacoma and being told it can't be done. Well I know its pretty much worthless without pics and I'll try to get one monday, but there is an 05 that belongs to a contractor that works very close to my job. He has a lader rack on it. From what I saw, it looked like it was attached to the top of the bed, wich couldn't have been the case.

Again, I know this thread is pretty much worthless without pictures, but I'll try and get one on monday.

ya ive seen those posts as well. the racks ive seen are just welded up square tubing which is then mounted on top of the bedsides.

it can be done... just drill thru the top of the bedside and use good mounting hardware

Any info on ladder rack brand and installation would be GREATLY appreciated .....

If can get ladders on - can buy Taco. Otherwise will need to get either Tundra or (Augh!) Frontier .....

the ones ive seen are on other trucks, but they are just a custom piece. if you have any fabricating skills it should be easy. use square tubing and make a cage to mount on the bed. then just figure out how to mount it to the bed.

Oh it's possible. And I have one for sale! I live near Dallas. It's almost brand new and complete with ratchets.
