Default 05 Taco Sport Seat Stain Removal???

I hit a bump leaving the pavement and some coffee launched from the strategically placed console cupholder thereby defiling my pristine passenger seat

I tried armor All's Oxi Magic upholstery cleaner and the only "magic" was that there is now a "halo" circle around where the stain was...

WTF, over???

I can read and followed the directions so I would NOT recommend this product to you guys.

Does anybody know any tricks to clean these seats?

Try oxy clean when you do this don't scrub but dab from the outside in keep using a clean spot on the rag. Hopefully that will help it works great for me at home should work for you.

You can also use Purple Power or Castrol engine degreaser, lightly mist, scrub with damp towel, repeat if needed then dry with clean towel. Hope that helps. Goodluck......

i just use tuff stuff and it works for me. the older the stain the tougher to remove. theres some pretty hardcore home carpet cleaners you can always try. or a steam cleaner

I agree with Thruster.... I had a nice grease stain on my seats and experienced the same problem (initially) as you -- visible circle on the material. However, I reapplied Oxy Clean, let it set for 5 minutes then dabbed... came out great

Ya I had the same problem with a chocolate ice cream stain in the fron pass seat. I first just used water with no luck then stem cleaned it which did take the stain out but left a horrible line at the edge of where i cleaned. I was pissed, it looked like crap. So finally I talked to the ZEP products rep who comes by my work and he gave me a bottle of Zep OXYSPRAY to try. It kicked ***, just sprayed in on evenly over the whole seat and after work whe i came out it was like new, I would highly recommend it. GO to www.zep.com and the product number is #0828. One tim though, when you spray it, spray the actual stain a few times till it is saturated and then spray the surrounding areas so you dont get any "rings" where the product was used.

I believe that there is something about that damn fabric that makes stains show up easier. On my F150 I could just wipe stains like ice cream etc away with some warm water, the tacoma is a whole different ball game.

Check out that product though.
