Default Has anyone made a fuel door replacement yet??

I ws just curious if a fuel door replacement was in the works or made by anyone to replace the existing fuel door. I seen the custom one posed before and like the idea of a non locking one. Thanks.

Question

Has anyone discovered, or located an aftermarket fuel door yet?

Default find a 2003 and trade

I have a stepside so I can't trade with you...otherwise I probably would. Would probably have to have you give me a copy of your key so I could open it though...

Like I said...too bad we can't trade! Hehe.

Only additions: Waterproof seat covers, Westin nerf bars, Colgan sport bra

REMOVED: Formfit hood deflector. Loved the look but a clip went missing. Can't find one for sale without the $45 hardware kit!

Mods: 12V outlet relay "fix" to have power when ignition switch is off.

Gripes: Weak leaf springs that Toyota doesn't want to warranty, paper-thin paint, interference design motor, crappy rear mud guards that cost $78 each (local dealer wanted $100) and only last 25k miles. Front mudguards built differently! (better)

Still the best truck I've owned to date.

Toyota makes a non-locking replacement but, it comes with an '03 wrapped around it!

Default Trade?

Some of the guys with 03's are wanting the locking doors. If they have the same color truck, maybe you could work out a trade?

Mmmm... a trade of trucks might work but a trade of fuel doors means they would have to carry a copy of the key that matches... right? Seems like a locking gas cap would be the easiest solution and for those folks who live in the snow climates it will be protected from ice/slush freeze up.
