TACOMA: 05 DC Auto Center Console Removal

Grr.. ok I've searched the technical forum and haven't found this yet. Anyone have an answer for me? I need to know how to remove the center console from a DC with automatic transmission. I would imagine the clips are under the shift lever but I can't figure out how to get the lever cover off? or am I chasing the wrong solution? Any help would be appreciated.

let me know if this works...

-open center armrest storage

-pull bottom of console up by the felt

-remove the 2 bolts at rear of console

this should start you in the right direction. i know it loosens up the aft part of the console

that's all of the work i've done
