Default Gas cap door
Hi guys I'm kinda new here but since I have a 2000 Tundra I thought I'd try and help out a possible future little problem on your Tundra's..Lube the hinge for that door(for the gas cap) every once in awhile...Moisture(water) must get held in there and on mine the bottom part rusted and broke
just a heads up

Unhappy Me too...
Your post was a bit too late to help me... I too have suffered a broken gas cap door hinge (the bottom one at that). I do find some comfort in knowing I'm not the only one driving around with only one hinge on my gas door. I haven't contacted any dealers yet on a fix for this, I expect it will cost more than I am willing to pay.
