Default Pulling factory liner for spray - dealing with tailgate

Hi:

I've done a fair amount of searching regaring pulling the factory drop in liner in favor of a spray in, but I haven't been able to find out what the strategy is for dealing with the portion of the drop in that's on the tailgate. It appears that the gate has been drilled to install, so I'm wondering what to do about the holes. Suggestions?

Thanks,

BC

Hi:

I had a Toyota T-100 that had a drop in bed liner. I had Armacoatings do the spray-on bedliner. (http://www.armacoatings.com/) I had some dings and an indentation done by a pipe hitting the top of the tailgate. They were able to fix all those problems when they sprayed on the coating. The holes in the tailgate won't be a problem to cover up with the spray. I like Armacoatings as they heat the spray. They also grind off the paint before application.

Pull the liner off the gate and then put the screws back in before you have the liner sprayed. That way it is sealed up good.
