This is a discussion thread titled "'03 Tundra Grille", within the Interior & Exterior forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
I've been doing some searching and reading here on the grille options for an '03. I think I could use a little more help. The best I can tell is the Ivan Steward TRD grille was only available to '02 and, if I could find one, the T3 TRD grille will fit the '03. I like the look of the Grillecraft mesh grille but that's only available up to '02. They have a billet style grille available for $150 or so but they don't have pictures posted on their website. I can buy the mesh material for about $50 and make it myself as I've seen a few others have done.
For those that made the grille themselves, how difficult was it?
For those that bought an aftermarket grille, how difficult was it? It looks like all of them require you to cut out the old grille. Do any actually bolt on? Maybe the one from trdparts4u does?

That one's pretty nice although pricey. It doesn't say if you just remove the old grille and bolt this one or if you have to cut. I assume it just bolts on.

I can't remember if it was a bolt on...friend of mine had one on but didn't look if it was bolted on...but there are couple of guys in here that have them so you could go to the photopost and look who has that grill and ask them about it....

I just recieved my grille in the mail last week from Toyota of Dallas (TRDparts4u) and it is awesome. It bolts directly as a replacement and makes a very smoooooth clean look to the truck, instead of that dorky OE grille. Not cheap however, look to spend about $250. But a nice way to change the appearance of the front end of the truck and set it apart from the crowd.

I second that one. Just put one on last month, check my pics if you want.
Trdparts4u (Dallas Toyota) is the cheapest source for this grille.
The center mesh is raw stainless, and it's a 5-minute bolt on.
Be sure to specify access cab or double cab... double cab is about an inch taller and, though it will fit the hood, it will smack the bumper. Ya... they mistakenly shipped me the prototype DC grille last year, and FMS was extremely happy to get it back. These are actually made right here in Cerritos near the 91/605 interchange.
The TRD decal is not included. Check ebay for those.
