the hood scope on my silver glares terribly during certain times of the day. i almost want to get rid of it just because of the glare. it is so bad that it is difficult to see. thank god i wear sunglasses all the time.

Now thats interesting. Being up here at 8,000 feet, with 330 days of sun on average, that would concern me. Perhaps I'll pass.

So wait sec....i havent looked at the '08 very closely yet. Im still trying to decide if i like the new style. So yea, the hood scoop has a solid plastic insert?? WTF? so it really is completely pointless. I plan on getting a 4x4 off road anyways but i did like the hood scoop look, and i had the idea to swap the hoods. Has anyone drilled holes in it or anything. At least some air flow will add to the amount passing through the engine compartment. Does the XRunner have the solid scoop insert as well?

I like the hood scoop. but people have the right to his or her opinion. I have a red 08 prerunner and I love it. it didn't come with the scoop but i purchased one on ebay but its missing the front peace of the scoop. anyone know where I can get one?
