Default '05 Tacoma Badges = adhesive?

Does anyone know if all the badges on an '05 Tacoma DC are put on with adhesive (i.e. no holes in body)? I want to debadge my truck.

Yeah, they are just adhesive. There's been a few members here who have already debadged their trucks. There's even some pictures if you want to search for them.

I did my tailgate already and its just adhesive...nothing a little goo-gone, fishing line and patience can't handle.

I have thought about my sides, but not yet, I dont think it would look right If i left the TRD stickers...anyway if you have any questions just shoot me a message.

I took my side badges off but not the tailgate. I think it looks better with the sides off. IMO. I did heat mine up with a hair dryer...used a fishin line and I took my time.

It has been great when washing and waxing the truck.

I have a Silver TRD double cab.

That looks very clean! My DC is silver. I plan on removing everything but the TRD decals on the back. I like the decals. Your truck looks like it would be easy to take a buffer to...

Default Old School

Maybe I'm old school but I like emblems. Maybe I'm the only one but I like people to know what I'm driving- a 4WD and not a poser PreRunner

Anybody want to hook me up with the ones you dont want???

mine is for loks, not to be a "poser" I've done it with all my trucks which have all been very low, minitruck style. It looks much cleaner without them. Who needs 4 emblems on the tailgate? Besides if you have a 4x4, your mud flaps say that.

Got an 05 X-runner, and has NO side badges (which is great!) and the tailgate badges are color matched.

I removed the "Toyota" and "tacoma" badges, but left "x-runner" on it. looks great.
