Default 05 Tundra DC Sunroof

Where are the 05 DC sunroof installed? The factory, at the port, after market?

Looking at mine it is hard to think they are not installed at the factory. Great fit and finish on mine.

Same for me. The truck I was looking at originally didn't have a sunroof and that was a deal breaker for me. The dealership was going to have a sunroof installed by someone local, but I switched up some options and they had a truck with the sunroof in stock. I'd say it's either factory installed or done aftermarket.

I would agree that this is a factory installed option. On the subject has anyone installed a sunroof visor/deflector on their Tundra? If so, where did you get it. The visor keeps the air moving across the top of the sunroof instead on down in the truck. In the past I had one on my Acura and it made a big difference with the wind noise. I would like to put one on the Tundra but not sure if they make one.

A wind deflector is an option on the 05. Might be able to pick one up at the dealer.

I'd like to see a picture of the wind deflector on if someone happens to get one.

I have an '05 with the factory sunroof, just started making a high pitched whine when I hit 50+ MPH. Didn't seem to start until the temp here began dropping below 40. Anyone else have an issue like this?

I don't. Sounds like an issue with the weatherstripping. Maybe when it's cold out, the weatherstripping shrinks enough to let just a little bit of air in? Just a guess.
