Default $750 for a grill????????

I think it is INSANE to pay that much for a grill!!! What is wrong with people that they would actually offer that much for it?? If everybody said no way!!, then the price would come down to a more reasonable ~$200 range. Maybe I'm just used to buying reasonably priced items for my Buick Grand National but geez, I could buy a top of the line new turbo for $600. And they want $750 for just a grill?? Nothing against y'all that have done it. Lord knows I am way too loose with my money but I'm in disbelief of the prices of modding my Tundra that I just bought. The stainless steel exhausts are pretty much in line with what I am used to but I just can't get over the fact that these exterior mods are so ridiculously priced!!!! Wow, I can get fender flares and a grill for $1300, what a deal!!!!!!!!! I'm going to have to get creative with this thing to mod it because I'm sure not going to shell out that much money for those items. Those that have the extra money to spend - more power to ya, the economy loves ya!!!!

$750 buck for a grill is absolutely nutso. I agree. You can get a whole lot better stuff for that kinda money (stuff that means something, like LSD or a better stereo or bigger tires/wheels).

Just what the hell is wrong with the OEM chrome grill?? I believe its appearance is far superior to any of that overpriced perforated metal "screen door" crap I've seen! Besides, you can even have a brand new chrome OEM spare from ebay for $75-$100.

Well I have one in the classified that is a little better priced check it out. I guess the extremly high price makes it a little more elite. I know there are some other after market companies that make grilles for tundras.

I agree, $750 thats a rape of the supply and demand. I am even more mad, cuz i passed up on buying 1 of 2 unpainted trd grilles for around 100. youd better belive im kicking myself now.

I have a slightly different viewpoint. A Tundra is transportation, nothing more, nothing less. If you fall in love with transportation, it will shrink the membranes around your wallet. The people who sell flashy grills, wheels, and such know this and are quite happy to shrink your membranes. If you NEEDED a flashy grill instead of WANTED a flashy grill, it'd be a different story. I pass no judgement on your taste -- I simply point out why I think flashy grills cost so much.
