Default LINE-X Xtra Update 7-29-05

It is required that LINE-X dealers attend a one day training class before they can sell Xtra. I'll be attending a class the middle of August.

Here's the real news: Xtra will be available in colors (for color matched bedliners) in September.

For those who have not previously read about LINE-X Xtra:
Line-X-Xtra is the first product offering resulting from a partnership between Line-X and DuPont Performance Coatings. The spray-on high performance bedliner is a “new benchmark” in exclusive composite coatings, as it combines the world renown strengths of DuPont™ Urethane Technology and DuPont™ KEVLAR®. Line-X-Xtra features include improved appearance, improved resistance to ultraviolet light and excellent adhesion to the bedliner. In addition, Line-X-Xtra is specially formulated with DuPont™ KEVLAR® micro pulp fiber. Xtra is applied like a topcoat, but penetrates the entire liner.

Just had my truck lined yesterday with Line-X and Line-X Xtra. The bed looks beautiful and I cant wait to test its durability. The guys over at the Line-X corporate facility were very nice and professional. I was very impressed with their attention to detail and how precise the staff taped off the truck. I would recommend them to anyone.

GREAT! Please check in periodically and tell us how the bedliner is doing. It's a new product, any feedback would be most appreciated.

I was told you can apply it to an already existing Line-X liner.

I really don't know the answer to that yet, but I'll find out.
