Default Steering wheel removal

Does anyone have detailed instructions on the removal of a Tundra steering wheel?

Go to the american-stitches.com web site. They have a section on steering wheel removal. They didn't have directions for a Tundra but most Toyota wheels are the same. I used the Camry directions. It is a simple job. Disconnect battery, wait 5 minutes(?), remove two torx screws on either side of wheel and the air bag comes off, unplug wire harness and set aside airbag. You will need a steering wheel puller (about $12 at an auto parts store) and the wheel comes right off. I painted a stripe over the spline and wheel to ensure correct line up on re-install. Good luck. By the way, american stitches did a great a job recovering my wheel.

What did American Stitches charge to cover the wheel. Does the color match perfectly? Is that your Tundra Wheel on their website? How long did it take from shipping to receipt back?

RM's directions are correct.
The torx screws hold the airbag to the steering wheel,it should be a size T-30. There should be small plastic plugs on the wheel which hide the screws.
The nut holding the wheel to the steering column is either a 17mm or 19mm,I forget exactly.

EdJade is correct, two small plastic covers conceal the torx screws. The horn/cover/airbag is all one unit and comes right out when you loosen the torx screws (they don't come out). I had the wheel done about six months ago (it still looks perfect) and I think I paid $250 which included the extra padding. The match for my charcoal interior is exact.
