Interior & ExteriorDiscussions about the interior, and exterior of your vehicle.
This is a discussion thread titled "LINE-X Xtra - Final Update", within the Interior & Exterior forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
Got my Line-X yesterday. Beautiful workmanship by the Rancho Cucamonga,CA dealer. Plus I got a neet Line-X T-shirt which has a Tundra on it. I had the original drop in Toyota bed liner and it messed up my paint on the top side rails from vibrating. The Line-x solved that problem forever. Sooo Cool
I was wondering if you could send me a PM as well. I am very interested in the Line-X product, but I want the X-Tra as well. I don't think any of the line-x dealers in San Diego do it yet. Could you PM me prices I should expect to pay for Line-X and the X-Tra? Also, can I add the X-Tra later or should I just wait to have it all done at once? Oh yeah, 1 more question, how much would it be to have the Line-X color matched with the phantom grey tundras?
I'll send you a PM, but I thought I would mention that I understand that Xtra will be available for color matching about the end of Feb or beginning of March.
Xtra works the best if you apply it right after the bedliner is sprayed in.
Now, we use Dupont Nason paint for color matches now, which works well, but Xtra is a superior product (for many reasons).
LINE-X is having a North America convention on Feb 10,11,12. Dealers will be able to become Xtra certified at that time if they wish.
Xtra contains solvents. There are local, State, and Federal laws regarding spraying chemicals that contain solvents. California law is VERY stricked, I hear. So, you might want to ask if they plan on spraying Xtra at all.

I haven't found a dealer in my area that can spray Xtra in the northern cal region.I have been told there is a dealer in Southern Cal that can spray extra but I don't know his name. We have to have a spray booth in CAlifornia to spray it and most Linex dealers have a spray curtain type setup.... I have been waiting for a year to get my truck sprayed and now I guess I will have to road trip if I want Xtra sprayed.....

Non-owner, but currently looking. I want the color keyed look, but since I am looking at 02 and older, its very rare. If I get a limited with the chrome bumpers, can they be Line-Xed body color? I assume I would just change out the grill to aftermarket/TRD or have a bare one painted.
