Re: Billetts too $$$$$ , look at this...
Tweeky,
Keep gigging me. I'm gonna get some pics up soon. I've been watching for a sunny day with light traffic going into San Francisco. (That would be a Monday -- but cloudy today.) I'll take the truck to work in the city, then snap a few digitals with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background. If you shop carefully online, you can pick up a good billet grille for about that price. I was at the Good Guys auto show in Pleasanton, and a vendor was quite apologetic he didn't have one with him. (It was the last day of the show, after all.) He offered to pay the freight, and was as good as his word. Mine is made by Stull Industries, and has ten elements. I think it's the appropriate one for a truck. Most of the manufacturers make 'em pretty close to that, but Stull seemed a bit more solid when I looked at 'em at different show booths. Some of the other guys have grills with eleven or twelve elements, which makes a finer grill. At least one of those manufacturers also makes an insert for the opening in the bumper. Those look pretty cool, too. However, I didn't want that look. It's a matter of taste, I know, but I'm goin' for the rugged 4X4 pickup look. The other looks more like a SUV or a sport truck to me.
