Thumbs up Installed '02 Sequoia seats and center console in my Tundra

Finally got it done. I bought some full power leather seats from an '02 Sequoia and installed them in my '02 Tundra. There was some slight mods to the brackets, but got them to fit, and they are awesome! Full power on driver AND passenger side.
I also picked up the center console from the same vehicle for $100 and got it installed too. I have done a TON of mods to my truck, but these are BY FAR my favorite for the price.
Oh yeah, bought a rear leather seat out of an '01 Tundra to match. Now I just need to get the panels on the front doors done. I think it cost me about $750 for everything after shipping, and had to buy a few parts (brackets and hole covers) but man it turned out nice. I will post pics soon.

Yeah please post the pix. My leather power driver seat just came in. I only ordered a driver side power because I plan on having Classic Soft Trim install the TRD Luxury interior. So did the power seats plug right in? I'll actually find out tomorrow once I pick up my one seat LOL. Please show the Sequoia console installed also. I should have done that instead of the 03 console.

Default NOT Plug & Play!

The Sequoia seats in the Tundra are NOT plug & play. One of the GREAT things about this site, is that it makes it easier for people to install parts from other Toyotas because wiring diagrams, owners manuals, etc are posted here on the site for MANY Toyota models.
I printed out the wiring diagram for the powers seats (both sides) for the Sequoia, and compared it to my Toyota factory service manual for my Tundra. The good new is that there was a 30amp power fuse that is all set up to use for power seats. You just need to create a jumper wire that allows the power to flow to the wire that is already under the driver seat. Since ower passenger seats weren't offered in the Tundra, you have to run power wire to the passenger seat. I don't wantr to get into too much detail in this thread, but I did need to splice in to a wire on the passenger seat, and figure out which wire goes to which for the seat belt switch (and the passenger switch that detects if a passenger is seated).
Then there was some grounding out of the holes in the seat bracket where it anchors to the floor. There was more involved but this will give you an idea. It is WORK to make it happen.
I will try to get pics up this weekend.

Default Center Console

How difficult was the center console to install? Did you have to modify anything?

Center console wasn't that bad. There is one bracket (the bracket towards the back of the truck) that lined right up with existing bolt holes. The Sequoia has three other brackets that are supposed to be used, but that is WAY overkill and the Sequoia brackets won't work in the Tundra (other than the rear bracket I mentioned.
I looked under the truck, and found that there were several bolts mounted to the body that looked like they were use for the brackets. Problem was that they covered them on the inside of the cab so you didn't know where they were. I took a punch and punched from under the truck so I could find the "dimples" on the cab floor to show where the bolts were. Then I drilled them out to access the bolts. I fabbed 2 brackets to bolt the console to the floor and that was pretty much it for the securing. The two front holes where the Tundra uses those plastic clips didn't line up well so I used some bolts & washers there. Doesn't look quite as good, but works great.
The other difference is the power outlets. The Sequoias plug in differently than the Tundras. Easy fix. I just took the power outlets out of the Tundra and used them in the Sequoia console. Plug & Play. You doo still have to run wiring for the 3rd power outlet that is located for use in the back seat. I just tapped into one of the front power outlets.
I did also trim off about 1/8" of plastic at the top of the console where it contacts the dash under the ashtray. Cosmetically it wasn't noticeable and it did give a more snug fit.
Oh, and the air vent that come out towards the feet are blocked by the new console. The passenger side is an easy fix. Just disconnect the end piece of the ducting and it will miss the console and is still unnoticeable. Driver side was a little tricky. I fabbed a plastic piece that fit in the ducting and redirected the airflow.
Other than that, there wasn't much to it. Took a while, but man I'll tell you I LOVE having the extra cup holders and all of those extra compartments. Plenty of places to put stuff. It was SO worth it. Like having a new truck!
