I got the Stainless Steel Smitty Built nerf bars and in my opinion they are the best on the market.
Problem is that they are also the most expensive.
Mine ran $492
I believe Westin also makes a very good nerf bar for less money.

I chose the Manik nerf bars because they looked better (as well as diffrent) IMO from the bars that curve under the truck. I installed them on my truck the day I brought the Tundra home from the dealer. They have been on the truck for about 2 1/2 years now with no problems. You can take a look at them if you visit "My Photos". I believe I paid about $350 for them....can't remember exactly.

Best of luck in your search!

Here's the one I got. It's a stainless nerf for $250 incl shipping. I did a lot of research and this is the best deal by far.

Follow this thread I started a few weeks ago:

I couldn't be happier with them. I have a picture in the photo section as well.

I got the Bully Stainless nerf bars for $250. I frankly didn't see any difference between these and the others for $350 - $400. Very easy to install as well and very solid! I would definitely recommend the stainless over chrome or painted as they will never rust! Can't go wrong.....

I have the Steel Horse Challenger tube steps on mine. Can't tell you how much they cost, I won them in as a door prize at the Texas Lone Star Bash. I think they look really good on the Tundra. Check out My Photos for a pic.

I got mine from ebay but from "bargainbust2k2". Nice bars and sturdy. There are a number of people that got them from various sources on there and don't think there have been any complaints. Stainless steel is good, no rusting like with powder coated etc. and as long as they bolt to frame they should be sturdy, I know mine are.
