05 Tail swap onto older models?

I used the search function and couldn't find anything on this. I really like the style of the 05 double cab taillights. I want to swap some onto my '00. Is the wiring harness the same? I know these lights are pretty expensive from the stealership, but i might be able to find some used. Has anyone done this or had any similar experience?

.dcab tail lights wont fit anything but the dcab you can get 05 acces cab tails oem on ebay those will fit see

I totally meant to say access cab (extended cab) NOT Crew cab. So they fit, direct plug/bolt in?

they are exactfit just bolt on $169 for the set on ebay these are oem not knock off top quality toyota product or their vendor

i have 05' tail lights with 00' access cab... no harness thought because i bought it off the junkyard... anyone know where i can purchase a 05' harness or can i just buy new bulb sockets and sauder it onto the exisiting harness?
