Default Security for Rear Window

Is there any way to secure the rear window in the Tundra? Some one jimmied my open last night and stole a bag with all of my tie down straps in it. (bet they were disapointed).

Is there anyway to make that back window more secure?

TIA
Jim

Good question!!!

When I bought mine I thought the same thing. Looks like an easy score for the neighborhood kids. I haven't had mine jimmied yet, but would like to reinforce the slider somehow.

A security sticker on the back window would be somewhat of a deterant. Even if there is no security system.

suggested last year that you get a threaded metal rod or dowel (both available at your local Home Depot) and put it in the track as a type of "charlie" bar.

I just shoved a ruler down there (12 inches vs the 13.5 inches that the window slides), and take it out whenever I need 1) to open the window, 2) to measure something.
