Default universal window rubber

is there such a thing as universal window rubber? what im trying to do is add a window to my leer shell. i bought the shell with a rubber compression boot that butts up agains the cab. i want to replace that with a window. i called leer to see if i could order a window.. but the opneing for the compression boot types is larger. so im out of luck. i know i can get custom glass or even do plexi myself... but i dont know how to mount it to the shell.

the boot is nothing attached to the shell opening with nothing more than some rubber cement and a channel in the boot. im thinking there must be something... a lot of guys do custom work to old hot rods and such.

does this make sense???

Default Window channel rubber

Check with a local replacement windshield vendor. I've used some "universal" channel rubber that's shaped like an "H". It mounts to 16 ga. sheet metal on one part of the "H" and to safety glass on the opposite part. It's used a lot on large truck tractors.
